We will be holding special Shabbat morning services to mark one of my favorite (and arguably the least understood) holiday in Jewish tradition, Shemini Atzeret.
This week's Parasha is Naso, from Numbers, which contains the great blessing of love (Birkat Kohanim, Birkat ha-Yeladim/blessing of the Children).
We welcome Shabbat with prayer, music (Renee Robbins on the piano and Gabrielle Pescador on the harp), reflection, and an opportunity to be together as a spiritual community.
Come welcome Shabbat together in song, meditation, and community.
Let's come together to pray with Rabbi Ruth, Daphna, and Yoel, each from their own homes.
In these times, hinei mah tov u-mah na'im shevet kullanu gam yahad, How good it is for all of us to e-gather and to connect heart to heart.
