Greetings and Happy New Year,
Now that we have completed our Yom Kippur observance, we turn our attention to celebrating the holiday of Sukkot. Come join us in our ritual to honor this sacred holiday and give thanks for the protection the Holy One gives us as we travel through space and time.
There are many powerful themes associated with Sukkot which is occurring on the Equinox, the time of balance and harmony. This is a time to appreciate the bounty of harvest time as well as experience our vulnerability and need for protection. It is also the Shmita year with its intention to help us-Let Go, Let Be, Rest. With the lulav and etrog, we will use traditional rituals to acknowledge this special time. We also invite our circle members to share poems, teachings, rituals that evoke and celebrate this time.
It will be especially joyful to just be together, in person, and share our journeys with each other, stepping into the year 5782 as an intimate circle. I look forward to this opportunity to be present with you at this special moment in time.
Blessings,
Lucinda
