Please join us for the next Rosh Chodesh Circle to welcome in the new moon of the Hebrew month of Cheshvan on Wednesday, October 6, at 7:00 PM.  We step from the deep energy of the High Holidays, the joy of Sukkot, and the celebration of Simchat Torah into the more introspective time of Cheshvan. We support each other as we move into this more reflective space, knowing that winter is coming and we need to confront the commitments we made during the holidays and shift the patterns that have blocked our growth.

We will continue delving into the energy of this Shmita year, this seventh year of the cycle of 7 years. During this time, we seek to let go, reconstitute our relationship to natural rhythms of body and earth, and restore balance. Let’s explore various forms of release, reflect on our own embodied shmita/release practices, and set new kavvanot (intentions) for the next six-year cycle.

Let’s continue our exploration of Shmita’s three foundational ideas that Linda Dominik so beautifully illuminated for us at our last Circle:

  • Let it go
  • Let it be
  • A Shabbat for YHVH

Please join our zoom circle and share how you plan to create your nest for the next months of cooler weather and falling leaves.

Blessings,
Lucinda
