Tomorrow January 30, 2021 at 10 AM, Zoom Shabbat services for Shabbat Shirah, the Shabbat of Song!

Dear all,
This Shabbes we celebrate Shabbat Shirah, the Shabbat of Song, the time of Crossing the Sea of Reeds, moving from Narrowness into Spaciousness. It is a Shabbat of greater expansiveness, of niggun, of song and inspired dancing…And it is traditional on this Shabbes to intentionally feed the birds (who along with Leonard Cohen are the “Masters of Song” ;- ) and to do so before (or during) the Morning Service. And to sing our way to joy!!!

To prepare for our services, you’re invited to spend some time watching and listening to the birds! BTW, here is an amazing story about the young Snowy Owl that visited Central Park

We will be gathering on Zoom at 10 a.m, for Shabbat prayer, meditation, niggun, movement, engaged sharing, and engaged Torah Study. (Possibly a cool text on Women’s Song at the Sea and Miriam-Consciousness) Here’s the link to our Zoom:

Meeting ID: 968 1340 3429
Passcode: 644993

All this followed by a simple kiddush, at 12:30 p.m. Perfect for those of us who eat and sing “like birds.” At least on Shabbat Shirah! Stay “tuned”…

Shabbat Shalom,
Reb Elliot
