Pardes Hannah’s Rosh Chodesh Online Minyan meets monthly to celebrate the new moon, weaving davening with teachings from Kabbalah on the unique qualities of each Hebrew month.  

This Wednesday we will meet to bring in Marcheshvan, the month in which we focus on the spiritual quality of smell. Marcheshvan invites us to use our sense of smell to tap into our ability to be grateful and say “yes this is enough, I am sated,” which is particularly important during this year of Shmitta, when we bless the Earth for what she has given us and allow her time to rest .
